Structural Steel protection

Use Firesteel 47-4 to add fire protection to structural steel

• Water-based coating can be applied using a brush, roller or spray
• Gives 30 minutes or 60 minutes protection to steel.

Intumescent coating causes a special reaction under high temperatures which makes the coating expand to 50 times its original thickness, forming a protective layer

The structural steel should be free from rust before application and depending on the type of steel it may need a primer undercoat.
