Rock Fibre Slabs, rolls & profiles

Rock fibre slabs, rolls and profiles are a clever solution to seal around service penetrations in situations where a non-load bearing sealant is desirable. They are constructed from a mineral fibre batt, which is high in density and has been additionally treated with a strong high quality fire resistant material.

• Supplied in easy to use single units and packaged in good quality polythene bags.
• Can be easily cut using a pad saw or a serrated blade.

Intubatt 1:

• Perfect for wall or floors.
• A single section is able to offer 120 minutes insulation in a wall and the same time in fire integrity.
• In a floor they provide 62 minutes insulation and up to 117 minutes integrity.
• When using two pieces, 240 minutes integrity and insulation can be achieved.

For extra protection, when over-coated in Firetherms's Flexcoat 15, this product can offer a high fire propagation standard (Class 'O').

• DOES NOT necessitate any separate 'buttering up' of the edges of the wall or the cut sections before installation, with the caveat that the fit must be tight.
• If only integrity is required, there is no need for an additional coat-back.

Intubatt 2:

This product is recommended for floors:

• One piece offers 113 minutes insulation plus up to 240 minutes fire integrity plus when installed strictly according to the manufacturer's directions in a wall.
• DOES NOT necessitate any separate 'buttering up' of the edges of the wall or the cut sections before installation, with the caveat that the fit must be tight.
• If only integrity is required, there is no need for an additional coat-back.

Intubatt 3:

A great value and trouble-free way to achieve static joints and fire-stopping movement, ideal for the edges of slabs/head of walls/curtain walling details:

• This product is recommended in situations where substantial movement is likely.
• Provides 120 minutes insulation and 240 minutes of fire integrity.
• Extremely efficient seal both in terms of smoke and acoustics.
• Constructed in a high density layered structure, one side is pre-treated with a fire-resistant flexible coating.
NB: Exposed joints will require a supplementary smoke seal along the exposed joints. For full installation guidelines, refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
