Rockwool & Quilt

Whatever the reason for wanting to reduce noise in your home, from whatever source, there are several options which can help to insulate your ceilings, walls and floors acoustically, from either airborne noise or impact noise.

• Wall soundproofing reduces airborne sound, which transfers between rooms or from the house next door.
• Impact noise is reduced by increasing the mass of the wall area.
• To achieve a high level of noise insulation, create a timber or metal stud wall and fill between the studs with a mineral wool such as Superglass or Rockwool insulation.
