Acoustic Floor Decks

Different types of sound require different methods of soundproofing:

Footsteps or the sound of furniture being moved is known as impact noise. Conversation or music blasting from next door is likely to be airborne.

• Soundproofing a floor can prevent airborne noise from coming up through the floor from below.
• An ideal solution is to lay acoustic floor decks, which dramatically reduce noise transmission are for concrete or timber floors.
• The upper layer is made from chipboard, offering a smooth, even surface, ready for the installation of the final floor.
